I’m taking my time to right this review as a Meriton member I’ve just experienced the rudest service desk staff employee Ben as a resident in service paradise I always stay at Meriton hotels directly but this time I had to book through Airbnb because of availability with Meriton also because we are traveling with our service dog so I went down to walk my dog noticed it was raining in Brisbane so because I’ve always stayed with Meriton hotels I knew they had umbrellas so I went to reception and was already created with a attitude by Ben good morning like I’ve always experienced at reception so I asked Ben if I could use a umbrella because he straight are you staying at the hotel I said yes with Airbnb then he rudely refused me back I said not even for Meriton members he straight away said no with a sour look on his face, I’ve never ever experienced customer service like this before at Meriton when I stayed last year at Meriton king street Sydney I unfortunately had to book with Airbnb because of availability but that didn’t matter the staff was always helpful even when I needed a umbrella to use, Ben attitude at Meriton Adelaide street Brisbane I’ve stayed at this location so many times over the years under Meriton bookings and had never ever experienced the rudest customer service staff member like Ben before hopefully he gets the help he needs and to be retained in customer service again to work in reception I don’t want any other guest experience what I did this morning likely it has stopped raining in Brisbane now and I can take my service dog out for his morning walk shame on you Ben at Meriton Brisbane Adelaide street
