A great place for a Sunday stroll; the dog was allowed on a leash

After we, like some others, wandered around to find the entrance to the terraced garden, a gentleman at the entrance explained to us that entry was only permitted with a mask and without a dog. At the abbey church it says that dogs are allowed on a short leash, which is also what it says in the HP
