Eltz Castle

Commercial but friendly, you can bring your own food or eat in the restaurant, dogs are welcome (obviously not in the exhibition, and the guided tour is well-written in German and English), there are great photo spots all around, and there's a shuttle for the lazy (sorry, of course, also for those who aren't very good on foot)

We were traveling with our dog. Of course, dogs weren't allowed inside the castle, but we just wanted something to eat

Also, you are allowed to visit the castle with a dog(as in our case- everybody were happy with german sheppard) but with no entrance to castle rooms

We had our dog with us, and the walk was also nice for him

While you can bring dogs onto the grounds, you'll only be seated in a courtyard with them, waiting for your companion to return from the tour or the treasury
