Arnhem Centrum Dart Competitie
Arnhem, a city granted rights in 1233, is strategically located on the Rhine River. Its significance lies in the Battle of Arnhem, part of Operation Market Garden in September 1944. Allied forces, due to errors, failed to capture a crucial bridge, resulting in defeat and delaying the advance into Germany. The 1977 film "A Bridge Too Far" depicts these events.
