Lyndhurst Road

Lyndhurst, a Gothic Revival mansion in Tarrytown, New York, is closed but its grounds are open until December 20th. Designed in 1838 by Alexander Jackson Davis, the mansion features park-like landscaping and original decorative arts. Notable residents include former mayor William Paulding, merchant George Merritt, and railroad tycoon Jay Gould. Lyndhurst is a National Trust for Historic Preservation site.
