Restaurant De Meerplaats, established in 1970 and owned by William Brands since 1993, is located on IJmuiden's fishing port. They serve fresh daily fish from Dutch-Seafoods. A large wine list, curated with winetrader Fred van der Wal, complements the menu. The restaurant accommodates both large groups and intimate dinners, and offers an English menu for tourists.
