Rose McNally opened McNally's Quick Lunch in Philadelphia in 1921. The business moved across the street in 1927 and began selling alcohol in 1934. Hugh James, Rose's grandson, joined the family business in 1953 and his daughters, Anne and Meg, now run the establishment. They recently expanded the seating area.
